In an attempt to better service our clients, you the client, MUST follow our policy in order for us to complete your job in a timely fashion. Your collaboration in submitting all information regarding your job order (size, colors, copy, & design specifications) to flyers2day.com as soon and thoroughly as possible, will aide us in processing your order in a professional manor. Failure to do so may delay completion of your job.
What are the Specifications needed to print a job with you?
All jobs submitted must meet the following specifications.
• Our most popular print sizes are 3″X4″, 4″X6″, 6″X8″ and 5″X5″ (CD Insert).
• A .25 inch no live area “MUST” be allowed for cutting purposes.
• The size of the printed piece will be the same as the document size listed under Page Setup in the application program. Jobs will be cut down about 1/16″ to original size.
• Front and Back of document should be setup as two separate pages, do not create both sides in a single file or page.
• Files should be setup at a minimum of 300dpi resolution.
• Files must be saved in CMYK format.
• All solid Black areas should be composed as a combination:
CYAN 50%, MAGENTA 50%, YELLOW 50%, and BLACK 100%.
• If your job needs to be in grey tones, you must have no “CYAN, MAGENTA, or YELLOW” in your channels. A perfect grey would be: CYAN= 0%, MAGENTA=0%, YELLOW=0%, and BLACK= 50%.
• If you need a grey to be lighter or darker, it would be determined by the amount of black you add to your black channel.
Your Artwork
You are 100% responsible for the accuracy of your artwork. Please proofread all text, make sure images are high resolution (300 dpi), and CMYK color format. When you submit a job for print, you are certifying the job is “ready for print” and thus accepting liability if the images have errors such as, but not limited to typos, color variations, and/or low resolution. We are unable to use or recycle your printing after we have completed it. Flyers2day.com will not be responsible for designer errors, Including files sent without proper room left for cutting. The blade will take off approximately 1/8 inch – ¼ inch off each edge of the cards so anything that you do not want cut off needs to be at least ¼ inch from all edges of the card. We can not guarantee precise cutting. Flyers2day.com will print your files AS SENT. We will not critique your artwork. POOR QUALITY FILES WILL RESULT IN POOR OUTPUT. Low resolution Files or images will cause your piece to print blurry and may be unreadable. Files that do not meet our guidelines will be printed AS IS and are not eligible for reprint. PLEASE give us a call if you have any questions concerning our file guidelines so that we may help you prior to submitting your files for print. We would be happy to assist you.
How do you follow up with me?
In order for us to expedite your order, you need to give us your daytime and evening phone numbers at the time you place your order. If you are on a tight deadline and looking for quick turnaround, it is also a good idea to give us the name and phone number of someone else who can speak knowledgeably, answer questions, and make decisions about your job.
What are my responsibilities concerning proofing?
We do not proof jobs! By the time the job goes to the press, all edits should be final, the copy carefully proof read, and design issues settled. When you go to press, make sure the copy has been pre approved. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PROOFING ANY SUBMITTED JOBS.
What do I need to do if my job is color critical?
We are not responsible for any color variations from your monitor to our presses. We are gang-run printers, so several jobs are printed at once. This process allows us to print at a much lower cost and pass the savings on to you, the customer. We do our best to get each job as close as possible, but the colors will never be exact and may shift up to 15%, due to the nature of our printing process. We cannot stress this enough, color variations will occur.
If you are a “Photographer” or other “Imaging Professional” looking for accurate reproductions or representations of your work, our gang run printed products may not be for you. Please give us a call prior to placing your order so we may get you a custom quote or suggest a product that may fit your needs.
Do I need to contact you regarding shipping of my order?
Yes. Please make sure you contact us to arrange your shipping in order for us to get you your job on time. If you do not make prior shipping arrangements your job will be placed on hold at our pick up facility.
How do I cancel a job already in progress?
Due to the nature of the 24-48 hour turnaround, we process jobs as soon as they are received. If you need to cancel an order you have placed, you must call and speak to a flyers2day.com representative. If we can catch the job before it goes to print, we will be more than happy to cancel it, but if the job is already plated and scheduled for production, you are responsible for full payment.
What if there is a delay on the printing?
Please understand that the design/print production process is as much an art as it is a science. We do not guarantee turnaround time. Our process takes one to two business days for production excluding design & shipping times. Occasionally there will be delays due to technical malfunctions, equipment failure, or file problems. We will make every effort to keep these events from affecting production and / or delivery of your order. Production and delivery times are not contractual. If your item is time sensitive plan well in advance. There will be no refunds for jobs that are not printed or do not arrive by your “deadline”. Jobs will be printed & shipped per your original invoice unless you choose to pay for a printing or shipping upgrade due to time issues. Factors such as mechanical breakdowns and shipping company practices are out of our control and we can not be held responsible if they affect a shipment from arriving “on time”. For this reason, we do not “guarantee” when a package will get there, however you do have our promise to do “everything that is reasonably possible” to get your package to its final destination in a speedy fashion. Orders submitted Saturday or Sunday will be processed on Monday.
Over/Under Run Policy
If you plan on using your piece for mailing or packaging, please allow room for overruns and under runs of up to 10% either way. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE EXACT COUNT. Please choose your desired quantity accordingly.
Terms Of Sale
All sales are final. Full payment for printing, graphic design, bindery, shipping and handling is required before any work can begin. Print jobs sent to press or printed on paper, are non-refundable.
Refund Policy
Refunds must be requested the same business day before the printing process begins. If an order is canceled the following day and the printing process has not begun, a 10% surcharge will apply. The 10% surcharge will not apply on orders canceled the same day that have not gone through the printing process. Also, any design or layout work done will result in the graphic design (layout or file conversion) fee being assessed and non-refundable. The printing process includes layout, color format check, raster image processing, creation of CMYK press plates, and printing on paper.
Complaints
All complaints must be registered within 24 hours of delivery. Should the job contain errors and/or defects due to our manufacturing, we will reprint the job at no charge. We reserve the right to judge what is a manufacturing error and defect.
Indemnification
The customer will indemnify and hold harmless the printer, flyers2day.com, of any and all loss, cost expense, and damages on any and all manner of claims, demands, actions and proceeding that may be instituted against the printer on the grounds alleging that said printing violates any copyright or any proprietary right of any person. You certify that you own the rights to use the image(s) being reproduced on your order.
Delivery
Flyers2day.com assumes no responsibility for delays caused by delivery carriers or any damages resulting from the failure to receive a job on time. Your order may arrive late due to unforeseen delays in delivery service, the breakdown of equipment, illness, etc. Orders shipped by Air Cargo (i.e., Delta Dash) must be picked up at the Airport. Delivery to your door is not included or available when you ship via Air Cargo (Delta Dash). flyers2day.com WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SHIPMENTS LOST OR DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING. ALL CLAIMS MUST BE MADE WITH THAT SHIPPING COMPANY.
